Was Good until update

I thought reading the new update that it was great! Tried to download " not compatible with this iPod" looked at the requirements need iPod 6
Im not buying a new iPod just for an app. Why make it only compatible for certain devices when others who actually enjoy the app dont want to replace their perfectly good current devices?
